A trained corporate lawyer, Laurent Ceccaldi held various legal positions at Gaumont Télévision and GTV before starting his career as TV producer at Marathon Media Group.

There, he produced the TV movie Le 7ème Juré (Jury Duty), directed by Edouard Niermans and starring Jean-Pierre Darroussin, winner of two Fipa d’Or Awards (best fiction and best male actor) and best male actor award at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in 2008.

In 2010 he created Bakéa Productions and four years later decided to partner with Caroline Solanillas to found En Voiture Simone.
