A faceless killer, a cop with too many faces.
When a police operation goes wrong, Samuel Kepler, a cop with mental health issues, is put out to grass in a police station in Calais, Northern France, where he tries to reconnect with his family. Confined to a desk, he thinks he has escaped his demons.
But then a sudden death turns his world upside down…
The corpse of a white girl is found where the Calais refugee ‘jungle’ used to stand. It is the body of Lucie Martel, a high-school student who reminds Kepler of his own daughter. Under pressure from his superiors, he has to face his worst fears and go back out into the field to investigate among the suffering migrants.
For Kepler, the price to pay for the truth might just be his sanity…
