Pitch
Kevin Lorin, an 18-year-old orphan from the Paris suburbs, has been trained by crooks to be a high-flying con artist – an Arsène Lupin in the making. When the police intervene in one of his scams, he surrenders and gives up on his life of crime. However, early retirement takes an unexpected turn when Commissioner Trinquant recruits him for a special infiltration mission on a homicide case. Kevin is a huge success and loves it so much that he sets his heart on becoming a cop. After all, who better than him to “rip off” criminals?
His arrival as a rookie at the police station causes a storm. He has Trinquant on his side and young colleague Sofia, for whom he has an undeniable crush, but Captain Vincent Béraud is a different matter altogether. This excellent, rigid cop doesn’t need an unpredictable, out-of-control kid in his way, especially one that also stirs up demons within him. But there’s a definite spark between this ‘odd couple’, and a relationship soon begins to develop amongst the dangerous chases and perilous missions.
